This is what I think Thomas Edison meant: Although we all have good ideas, only those who work hard to make them happen become successful. In other words, it is impossible for our visions to become a reality without hard work.
Thomas Edison tried 3000 filaments before he made a practical light bulb. Think about it...2999 mistakes before he got it right...talk about perspiration...Don't give up...PERSEVERE!
I love what alexanderhamilton said because he put it in so many amazing words that I really thought got down to the point of what Thomas Edison was trying to say. Great job everyone! Keep on blogging!

What I think it means is that if you do something you love and admire you should work hard at it.
I think that it means that you should do something that you love, not what peple want you to do.
Good points Rosa Parks and The Statue of Liberty.
